LGBTQ+ Liaison

The City of Vermillion is dedicated to providing for the public's safety in a fair and impartial manner, as well as helping to identify and elevate the concerns of individuals living in and visiting our community.

Lt. Drew Gortmaker is the Vermillion Police Department's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) liaison. He strives to ensure fair enforcement, responsible reporting, and respectful interaction and works to engage with the LGBTQ+ community as a resource within the law enforcement community.
