Chad Passick has been with the Vermillion Police Department since 1999.  He was born and raised in Vermillion, and attended the University of South Dakota.  As Captain, Chad manages the patrol function of the Department, and acts as assistant to the Chief of Police.  In addition to his duties as Captain, Chad enjoys being a law enforcement driver training instructor.  His interests include Cornhusker football, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
