Art Mabry was appointed as the Vermillion Chief of Police in January, 2003.  He began his law enforcement career as a member of the Fairfax County, Virginia Police Department, where he retired after 25 years of service.  Following his retirement, Art served as the Police Chief in Olathe, Kansas.  Prior to his law enforcement career, Art served in the US Army, and is a Vietnam veteran.  He possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree from the American University, Washington D.C., and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.  Art is married to Greta, and has two sons, Travis and Patrick.
