Sergeant Fick has been with the Vermillion Police Department since August of 1997.  During his tenure, he has worked as a patrol officer, detective and a patrol sergeant.  He specializes in accident reconstruction and the prevention of domestic violence.  He graduated from the University of South Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in history and economics and a master’s degree in history.  He enjoys walking, hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife, sons, family, friends, watching the Minnesota Vikings and Breakfast Club.
