Ryan worked for Bayliner Marine for six years before leaving to attend college.  Ryan obtained an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Labette Community College in Parsons, Kansas in December of 2002.  In May of 2003, Ryan began his law enforcement career when he was employed by the Vermillion Police Department.  Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and watching Minnesota Twins baseball and Vikings football.
